Negative Ads for Everyday Goods (video)

The midterm elections set a record for spending on negative ads, with most of the money coming from anonymous outside sources. Although many of the ads proved to be false or misleading, they were largely successful. With the elections over, the political ad-makers are now turning their talents to ads for ordinary projects. See below.

Boogeyman Attacks Health Reform (Video)

America's Health Insurance Plans, a lobbying group for the insurance industry released a new study this week, claiming any type of healthcare reform will double the cost of insurance for the average American. Reform supporters have dismissed this as "more fear mongering," however AHIP denies ever mongering fear. The group has referred all questions regarding the study to their new spokesperson, the Boogeyman. Watch the video below, or larger on YouTube.

Is God Gay?

NEW YORK- Gay Pride Week began with a rainy start last weekend. Our conservative columnist, Irwin Kram cited this as proof of God's displeasure with homosexuals, and predicted that the rain would continue through today's climactic parade. Click here to see his comments.

Instead, today is proving to be one of the few sunny days New York has had in the past few months. On top of that, Gay Pride celebrators witnessed a gigantic double rainbow over the West Village on the eve of the parade.

Several theologians have taken the rainbow as evidence that God Himself is gay. Other evidence includes His Old Testament obsession with men's penises, the fact that He is continually pictured surrounded by scantily clad male angels with long beautiful hair, and the fact that in 14 billion years, there has never been a Mrs. God.

The Inquisition puts the question to question to you, our readers. Do you believe God is Gay, and why? Please post your comments below.

Super-Villain Gives Dating Advice (video)

by Chris Pearson & Allan Piper

The Infamous Professor Fear is best known for his repeated attempts at world domination. Lately however, he has been working on a different sort of project. Instead of releasing a horde of robot monsters to take over the city, as he so often does, this week he released a new dating-guide.

Many consumers may be reluctant to trust Prof. Fear after trying his patented facial cream, which instantly melts away wrinkles (along with all other flesh), or his anti-gravity weight-loss pills, which do not result in the loss of any fat, but have caused thousands of obese people to weightlessly drift off into the atmosphere. However, the caped criminal claims this new book is absolutely not part of an insidious plot to conquer the world. Jennifer Houston has this report.

In Uncertain Market, Safest Investment is Cookies

NEW YORK- An unbiased, nonpartisan economic focus group, funded by the This Chick Bakes cookie company, concluded this week that the only safe place to invest your money is in the cookie jar. "With stocks in flux, and interest rates at a record low," explains economist, Melvin Stein, "the only sensible investment is in nondurable baked goods, specifically those made by This Chick Bakes."

While Keebler has had to lay off over forty elves, and Pepperidge may be close to selling the farm, This Chick Bakes has been enjoying record sales, making it the most stable purveyor of the tasty treats economists are increasingly urging investors to buy up.

"Me love cookies," proclaims Cookie Monster, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institute, adding "me not love short-term bond prices."

In full disclosure, we must note that This Chick Bakes is the sole corporate underwriter of the National Inquisition, but this has in no way influenced the impartiality of this article. Our journalistic integrity remains as pure as the 100% natural, wholesome ingredients that go into every This Chick Bakes cookie.
